Don’t expect Kim Kardashian to open up to a therapist anytime soon. The reality TV star prefers to work through her problems and situations all on her own.

Kim has revealed that therapy didn’t really work for her due to her fairly private personality, reports Digital Spy. She’s tried to go the therapy route, but decided that she’d rather sort out her problems “on [her] own.”

However, not all the Kardashians feel that way. Kim reveals that her sisters both love therapy, especially as Kourtney’s relationship with her son’s father has improved due to his rehabilitation treatment.

While Selena Gomez was appointed a UNICEF Ambassador last year, she’s continuing to express how important this role is for her and how important it should be for others as well.

Gomez took to Global Grind to blog about how giving back was instilled in her by her family “whether it was donating my clothes or going to the food bank,” reports Digital Spy. And as she grew up giving back, she’s trying to continue in her work with UNICEF and getting others to do the same.

“It is really inspirational to change kids’ lives. I’m so blessed to have a voice and it’s important for me to use that voice,” the young singer and actress opened up about her charity work.

Hudson, 28, landed the on the cover of InStyle Makeover, and she's showing off all of her hard work in a skintight banded dress. The actress went from a size 16 to a size 6. And if that seems like a lot of change, Hudson said she has a more radical urge to switch up her hairstyle. “I’m actually thinking about shaving my head," Hudson admitted. "Because I feel I’ve got a good structure now [gingerly feels cheekbones]. My cousin’s a beautician, and she always tells me, ‘You could wear any hairdo.’ So I’m thinking, What if I shave my hair? Not completely off, but low. I think that would be so hot.” But her fiance and father of her nearly year-old son, David Otunga, may not take to her new 'do too kindly; he's still trying to adjust to her new physique, Hudson said. "David doesn’t like change. He tells me I have no breasts anymore. He tries to feed me," she said. ‘Avatar’ beats ‘The Dark Knight’ to set Blu-ray record

LONDON : Acclaimed filmmaker James Cameron’s oscar winning 3-D sci-fi epic ‘Avatar’ has beaten ‘The Dark Knight’ to set up a Blu-ray record as consumers snatched 1.5 million copies of the movie on the day of the home video release.

A total of 4 million copies (including Blu-ray) of the movie were sold on the first day itself, reports contactmusic.com.

The previous Blu-ray record was held by “The Dark Knight” with 600,000 copies.

While some analysts had wondered whether home video sales of the movie would take off without a 3-D element, reviewers Thursday praised the overall look of the film on the small screen, several using the term “gorgeous” to describe it.

In Britain’s Guardian newspaper, critic Gordon Mackie wrote that the DVD release “still feels like an event without that third dimension. It’s very much a James Cameron movie, for better and worse.”

“Its visual splendours are many. But Cameron movies come with his own dialogue so it’s only the visuals that stay with you, and you sometimes feel bludgeoned with his none-too-original green, antiwar message writ large,” he added.

MUMBAI : Although Bollywood hunk Shahid Kapoor has always been very confident about his histrionics, the actor has, of late, become a little too insecure about his career.

Reports reveal that after all of his recent releases – ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’, ‘Chance Pe Dance’ and ‘Paathshaala’ flopped at the BO, Shahid has become extremely cautious about his act in his upcoming film ‘Mausam’, which is being directed by daddy Pankaj Kapoor.

Sources say that the actor doesn’t want to take any chances with ‘Mausam’, not because of it being a home production, but because he can’t afford to deliver a miserable performance in any of his projects henceforth.

The actor is reportedly working really hard on ‘Mausam’, and is also actively taking active interest in each and every aspect of filmmaking. Grapevine has it that Shahid recently met the writers of the film and suggested a few changes in the script.

Shahid’s last blockbuster film was Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Kaminey’, also starring Priyanka Chopra, which won him accolades, but post its success, all that the actor has been able to deliver are back-to-back flops. Well, honestly speaking, Shahid really has all the reasons to be worried about his career!
