European stocks up ahead of US banks data Thursday, 05.07.2009, 01:56am (GMT5) LONDON: Europe's main stock markets posted modest gains on Wednesday as cautious investors awaited results of "stress tests" on troubled US banks and key unemployment data this week.
Markets were also nervous on the eve of interest rate decisions from both the Bank of England and the European Central Bank. |
